Hi everyone. I have an Lincoln V160S that blew it's input board. Multiple components went along with a destroyed daughter board on the input board itself. Was wondering if anyone could point in the right direction. Lincoln wants over $700 for a new input board while the machine is not even worth that much. I was hoping to find a used input board. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Reply:Would try some Lincoln repair centers not just dealers that sell new welders. Try billswelderrepair.com or stumpfsweldingsupplies.com for starters or run some want ads. If that's a common thing blows out in it and hard to find they will probably know that too and help you decide which way to go with it. Check for sale ads you find a used complete working one for less than the repairs cost the way things are out there now lots of good deals.
