Reply:Closest anyone in my family ever came to making anything like these "projects" was a 15' catapult.... mostly out of wood. Two of our kids teamed up with some Aggie students that knew how to weld and built a pumpkin catapult as a team. Over 10 teams created catapults for launching produce. Upon completion, they set them up in a circle and started launching watermelons, honeydews, cauliflower heads, and anything else they could get their hands on that was "launchable" at other university students in the center. I guess the deal was kids in the center had to dodge the produce and.... each other.... during beer fest.   --Our kids liked that homemade centrifuge. They said, “That’s a work of art”  and told me to quick fast…. learn how to weld better so they could have one for the holidays.   I wanna know how it is that guy "enoying" a ride in that twirl-o-chair thingie didn't blow chunks.   --BD1> 'Cool !!
