I believe I need one of these to convert my bandsaw to a slower metal cutting speed. When I was avidly home brewing, I recall surplus units selling for under $100. I can't recall where that was. Surplus center and grainier don't list anything I need. I'm looking for a 1/3 hp motor with a 20:1 reduction. MAny help would be appreciated. Reply:Everyone will tell you to get a jackshaft and a bigger pulley. You have to do measuring and such. I haven't a clue on how to do it, because I wanted to do it to mine but I gave up.Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer
