Hi everyone.I just got an invertec ac/dc 205. I was a little surprised that lincoln suggests a 30 amp breaker on #12 wire? After reading I found that its due to the duty cycle, and the machine can't draw that much power over an extended period of time. To be on the safe side I left a 2 pole 20 amp breaker in. Since I'm doing lighter tig stuff on thin metal, I figure this won't matter too much, but I don't know much about welding so I may be wrong.I ended up getting #10 romex, but before I ran that and hooked it into the 2pole 30a I wanted to konw if I could leave the 12 and 20 in until I needed more juice. Are there any good reading or video resources for the v205 or tig in general? ultimate goal is bicycles out of mild steel and aluminum later on down the road. |
