Reply:The chamber pressure of a shotgun is pretty low compared to a rifle or pistol. Chamber pressures in that 50 he is building are at least 4x higher - which is why his first prototype didnt work out so well. Reply:Reminds me of a conversation I had with an Ausie who saw a set of dies used by the Viet Cong.  They could set up a charcoal fire, melt down scrap aluminum from aircraft and in one night outfit a combat group with machine guns.  The guns were good for less than five minutes of combat before jamming.  In a fire fight that five minutes determined if you got yourself a real weapons or you really wouldn't need one anyway.
