I don't know where to post this but, I have a aws level 1 certification and I wasn't sure if I can fet a part time job at a fab shop because im a junior in high school. I would like to know if it is a possibility at my age, thanks.

Reply:I'm not too familiar with penn but in fl as long as you are 15 you can work part time at pretty much anything you want. Dose your school offer work programs that would let you go to your job during the last few hours of school? At your age and being part time you will more than likely have to start out at a fab shop as the clean up guy or an apprentice but that all depends on the employer and what times your available.Easiest thing to do is call all your local shops and ask.You obviously know about the basics so if your hungry to learn and do what needs to be done you will probably find a job!Real welders know how to penetrate!(Equipment)Whatever can be used to beat my opponent into submission!
Reply:As a former pennsy resident, until you are 18, you are limited to retail/food service jobs. I had the exact same problem.
