This is the SA-200 Lincoln Blackface Pipeline Welder that I have been working to restore for a few months now.I finished it last week, and it is sweeeeet if I do say so myself, lol.It has the Old Continental F-163 Engine.All copper wound.Black Pearl paint job.Stainless Gas filler cap.New Faceplate.Stainless Adjustment Knobs.All New Factory Sticker Graphics.New Everything on the engine.The side covers are not on the machine in the pictures, they are at the local air brush artist's house getting a nice graphic painted on them, I will post the pictures of them after I get them back. Reply:I'm pretty sure the hexagon housings had aluminum windings. How do you know it's copper wound?Good looking machine you should be proud!! I recently restored a '56 shorthood i'll have to get some pics posted.Lets see the side covers!!
Reply:From 1973 - 1979 the lead connections are as shown in the picture. The generator was originally wound with aluminum shunts and if it is now "all copper" then it has been re-wound.Gordie -- "I believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."
