I had a guy email this picture and say he wanted another logo cut out with this same finish. What all does it involve and what kind of time does it take to do it? I'm normally just a primer and paint it kinda guy...

Reply:It is nothing like rainbow torch. I have done a lot of finishes, and I dont recognize it, at least not in metal finishes.
Reply:I've done similar finishes in mild steel, with muriatic acid sprayed/dripped on, then washed off & neutralized, with a wax or clear coat to seal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Reply:The owner of Mariah Metals is a friend of mine and I know he does some high end work in the city. He loves strange projects. http://mariahmetal.com/services.html I am sure you could give Ray a call and ask him. I know that he was heavy into patina years ago for unique handles and metal objects in fancy high rise buildings. There is no end to what you can do to any object with patina effects. https://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=m...+patina+copperTo me it looks like they did something like this latter video.
