Doing some online research and looking in the manual I have found that the manual when explaining how to use the machine it says to place the tip on the material and start cutting. When looking at consumables you can get the drag shield cup and all the necessary parts for the 27 which mine is the 25cx and accepts the same parts. So can you drag cut with the factory consumables? or does it just reduce their life faster?Thanks its quite a good machine for $300
