Youtube Channels??

I am wanting to learn how to run a lathe and a mill. So I called up the local community college...they got rid of the class 2 years ago  And I dont know a machinist, besides the ones at work. But getting them to show you something is like asking for gold lol. Any way, is there a good channel on you tube that goes over the basics or a lathe and a mill? Or any good recommendations?Thanks,Chris

Reply:I second the MrPete reference. I think he was a shop teacher at a high school once upon a time. You should also check out KEF791 - he runs a job shop up in MA and does some great videos.Best of luck!Tom

Reply:One of the best I've seen is tubalcain he has many that will help.There are many more once you get into a grouping you will find more to watch.there is great joy turning and mailling parts for yourself.Here is one I developed for my lathe.   google is another great source for info just type what you want to do and check out listing there.have funTom
