Can a SuperFlex cable be installed on this torch?

I have 17, 26, TL210 & CS310 torches but always wanted a 9 but never had a project to justify one.Was at the flea market and saw the power cable laying outside a box and to my supprise there was a 9v torch on the end with a gas lens! The guy wanted $10 so I didnt even think about it.The cable is real short and stiff so I was wondering if a Superflex Cable could be installed. I know my CK TL210 takes a special thread and I have not checked the thread on the 9 yet.TOO MANY TOOLS & NO MORE SPACE
Reply:Absolutely.  It is a standard 3/8-24 tpi female fitting on the torch.  Call up HTP.  Assuming your machine uses DINSE connector, the DINSE connector from the superflex hose package has to come with a gas-thru port where your gas outlet would feed.  Then it all travels within the 1-pc superflex cable.Last edited by Oscar; 09-06-2014 at 05:21 PM. 1st on WeldingWeb to have a scrolling sig! Reply:Thanks Oscar, will have to give them a call.I am running it on an XMT and my TL210 with the Superflex cable has a gas hose running out of the power block to the regulator (no solenoid on machine/valve on torch) and there is a Lenco-Dinse plug on the machine. Mine, you can unscrew the ferrule and remove the hose to put whatever size you want on it providing it's the 1/4" dia hose..  The shell splits and has a collar that screws on to hold it together.
