Hi All, Last go around for these items - final sales on eBay - if they don't sell this time around they're not going back up. Some really nice cutting/welding sets for OA:Oxweld Heavy Duty Cutting/Welding Setup (cutting attachment and cutting tips included): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120746119797Brand New Marquette cutting setup with tips: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120746119806Brand New Harris Cutting Attachment and Tips: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120746119828Brand New Victor Flashback Arrestors: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120746119812
Reply:Non-Victor or Smith OA stuff sometimes moves slow on Ebay. I just click "relist" and let mine ride if they don't move right off. Nice Oxweld R-torch with the vital R adapter fittings which are (as far as I can tell) no longer made. I have the similar non-R versions or I'd be interested. They really have a good balance and feel to them. Someone should give that puppy a home, especially with the included tips.
Reply:Thanks farmall. I agree with you - anything Victor I've listed moved usually on the first listing and I got good money for it. My Smith Lifetime straight cutting torch sold for more than I was hoping. I've listed these about three times already and I get a few watchers but never any bids. I think the starting prices are pretty fair, especially for the Oxweld R torch. If anyone is interested from WeldingWeb, please shoot me a message. Thanks,Jon
Reply:I bought the Oxweld R torch from Jon. I am looking forward to using it. I really wanted a good quality used torch as opposed to buying a new Chinese Victor copy. I think I will be very happy with this set.
Reply:I like Oxwelds better than my top-of-their-line Victor Journeyman combo torch, let alone a Chinese copy. |
