Reply:I have 3 different welding locations that I work out of, and one is in a narrow staircased basement. The small table I have down there is magnatized beyond belief and warped to death. But I refused to build a new one, just to leave it there in the future. So while at my LWS last week they had the miller tables there, on impulse I said screw it and bought one of there 30s I believe X tables with a few clamps. Finally put it together last night and love it. Gonna buy another I think. Gets to the point sometimes, whats your time worth. Im a one man band with my side work, and this was a nice treat for myself. When im gone, I break em down and take em with me. Reply:I gotta disagree wtih OP. I have the nomad, I love it. It's small, portable, and pretty solid for a lighter-weight table. They make it clear this isn't a fabrication table for hammering/destroying metal, it's a small welding table. Also, for $140, what did you expect? haha.Hobart EZ-Tig newbie.

Reply:With all the gear on your list, why not make a custom table with accessories tailored to your use?
Reply:OP, I think you got a bad table, either in shipping or handling.My table arrived totally flat with zero issues. I'd contact your vendor about that.FWIW, I ordered mine from Northern Tool.Hobart EZ-Tig newbie.
Reply:That thing looks like it fell out of the truck and got ran over a few times. I have a few stronghand c clamp pliers and I actually really like them, better than my vice grips. They've held up well too, I am not always nice to them. One of the few imported tools that I actually like and will admit to liking.

Reply:Give them a call! If you want I'll snap pics of mine tonight, but mine was perfectly flat, and I've done some hot welds on it already with zero warping. I bet if you get a flat one you'll like it for what it is.Hobart EZ-Tig newbie.
Reply:I bet if you give Stronghand a call they'll take care of you.I bought their buildpro table, and a couple of the clamps had minor "issues."  two out of 164 pieces isn't so bad.  Anyway, gave them a call, they shipped out the replacement on the same day.
