miller wirefeed with bobcat

I am thinking about getting a Bobcat 250 and a miller suitcase 8vs.  Has anyone had any experience with this?  Id like to be able to run fluxcore that is seismic rated for structural with this.  Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.Thanks
Reply:i have a 250 and a 12vs. works good. takes some time to dial in. i founf running dual sheild wire works best for me

Reply:I have the TB 302 which is a better choice for me doing mostly repair type work and has been said that the RC feeders are not worth the amount of money difference you pay and the 12RC hooks up to the 14 pin plug on my miller TB 302 so you don't have to run back to the welder to make adjustments and can be run in every mode of mig from short circuit to axel spray mode and do it quite well so i have been told by guys who have done itI have only run flux core in it so far and i only have used it for large fill jobs so farOh and guys just because you CAN put a 12 in reel of wire in it does not mean you have tooIf you don't want all that weight when climbing a ladder put a smaller reel of wire in itBacked my CATMA over your CARMA oops clusmy me  What would SATAN do ?? Reply:I run a feeder off my TB301 and run hard and hot, usually ExcelArc 71 dual shield, or 5/64 NR-211 and the machine begs foe more. If I am gouging or running baseball bat 7024 the SA-250 makes an appearance.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
