I've been lookin to get a cheap plasma cutter for a while and found a guy that has what he says is a Miller cp40r. I have done searches here and on Millers site and cant find anything about it. He says its 10 years old. Price sounds fair at $450 but he doesnt have power or air in his garage for me to try before i buy. And, its 21/2 hours away. Has anyone heard of this model?ThanksSafety 3rdGump
Reply:The CP40r is the torch that Miller used on some older systems (I would dare say much older than 10 years) The Torch was produced by a French company, SAF. You should find out the model number of the plasma power supply to get better feedback.....the CP40r is just the torch.Jim Colt Hypertherm Originally Posted by GumpI've been lookin to get a cheap plasma cutter for a while and found a guy that has what he says is a Miller cp40r.
