Reply:The output choke has a diamond shaped air gap, to prevent saturation and to regulate the current/flux density. In theory the choke adjusts to improve weld quality from high to low amps.Does it work ?Don't know.
Reply:Of all their mig welders I got the only one with the Chopper Technology and not the Diamond Core. So I am of no use to you here. But I can say that the Chopper Technology works pretty darn well! Now, tell me why mine is the only one NOT using Diamond Core????Lincoln Power Mig 210MP MIGLincoln Power Mig 350MP - MIG and Push-PullLincoln TIG 300-300Lincoln Hobby-Weld 110v Thanks JLAMESCK TIG TORCH, gas diffuser, pyrex cupThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 101My brain |
