Box store or LWS rods in the same brand

I don't use much rod, maybe 10 lb a year.  So If there is much to be gained by paying extra forrods from a welding shop I don't mind.  But is there much difference.Like Weldit 6011 sold at TSC and Hobart 335A at the shop.Or Lincoln fleetweld 180 at home depot vs fleetweld 180 at the weld shop.Is it likely that quality control is better for weld shop rods or maybe big box store rods are actually second sourced.Thanksmillermatic 130XPharbour freight 180 amp mig with added caps.hobart stickmate ac/dcpowerarc 200
