I bought a truck for a business deal with a Lincoln 250 welder. Have to sell it apparently the welder runs good but won't weld unless running off of the truck battery instead of off of its own power, can anyone help?
Reply:Some Millers need the battery for welding, I wonder if your Lincoln is the same way. Will it start off it's own battery?......Mike
Reply:The welder starts good on its own battery it just doesn't spark to weld unless hooked up to the truck battery I know nothing about welding and am afraid something is wrong. My ex was running the truck and had no problems welding as long as the welder was hooked up that way to weld. I am worried about being able to sell it.
Reply:Hopefully someone with a bit more experience will chime in here....Mike
