I have two sections of 2" square tube, one with 3/32" wall. I don't know what gauge that is. The other with 3/16 wall thickness. The question is which thickness to use as the legs and which to use as the top frame to support the 2' X 3' X 1/2" top? Or does it matter? Thank you from a total beginner.Tom F.Hobart Handler 190 mig gunWilton Vise Restoration
Reply:Either are more than sufficient. The top is only going to be 125 lbs or so.
Reply:That was my thought too. Thx!
Reply:Just make sure to tie the lower parts of legs together to prevent racking.

Reply:Absolutely! I will most likely build a cabinet that sits on those lower supports.
