lincoln precision tig 375 problems

hey thereat work our lincoln pt 375 isnt working in tig at all. it works in all polaritys in stick mode and in stick mode we can scratch start tig. but in tig mode the high frequency isnt working at all. the machine is a 2008 but hasnt been used much at all.torch is new,foot pedal is new, argon is flowing but nothing is happening at any polarity. at the back where the cooler plugs into 115 the lower plug isnt working but the upper plug is.what could the problem be?any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Reply:I know almost nothing about Lincoln welders, but I suggest that you ask yourself what is different between stick and TIG modes. The first thing that I would check is the power lead to the TIG torch with an ohm meter. They open up sometimes. The next thing to check is the foot pedal. Does the welder allow you to disconnect the pedal and switch to manual control? If you can TIG with manual control of the weld current, then there is something wrong with the pedal. A broken wire? The cables to foot pedals go bad sometimes. Check the wires with an ohm meter. Reply:we noticed the fan was coming on when you had the machine in the on position but if you took the power knob and just put it down maybe 1/8" then the light on the right came on  (looks like a thermometer) and the fan goes on.
Reply:Since my PT275 is almost the same as the 375, I am interested to know the details of this problem and the resolution. I have the advanced control panel in my PT275. I believe that means the ONLY difference between the two is now the amperage. Reply:Did you ever get a Idea of what caused your issue with no tig operation?? have a PT375 same issue but have no fans and no power to lower cooler power plug. discovered to late, burnt torch lines with no coolant. can only scratch TIG haven't tried stick yet but have to figure out fan issue/cooler issue. cooler pump works if plug is used in other port..help!!! no Lincoln repair here!!
