Victor cuttign head attachment question

Well I picked up a nice Victor set off craigslist today for $70. The set came in a very nice Sears/Craftsmans box , Welding tips(0,1)never used, wand (WH-260C), Actual Victor stamped tip, cutting attachment, Firepower regulators plus old filler wire and in good condition manual.  The tip is super clean and must have been used just for a test start up then stored away, The box has no scuffs and cleaned right up with some dish soap. My Question The cutting attachment is a triple tube design (CA-250 ) which I have seen before but never used, Does the triple tube design have a better efficiency or more heat output ? reduces pop or flash back ? My current setup I have a radnor medium duty kit which has built in flashback arrestors, it serves me well but its all china like the new Victor stuff pretty much, tin diaphragm housings on the regulators,  not saying its a bad thing but I prefer brass like my Victor 460 2 stage regulators . The new old Victor kit has the good old USA stampings on it so I figure it might be worth keeping instead of flipping it on craigslist which I had intended. I added some check valves and a new hose since the guy was only selling the torch kit, If I keep it I will probably make it my go to torch when cutting with propane. Reply:Well I found this on weldingtipsandtricks Torch designs that use two versus three tubes to supply gases to the cutting tip, provide a large difference in performance, if cutting ‘thick’ material. Three tube designs allow for a separate tube for the fuel gas and the pre-heat oxygen, with a third tube for the cutting oxygen. Two-tube designs combine the pre-heat oxygen with cutting jet oxygen. On thicker materials, when large volumes of oxygen are required, engaging the cutting lever may change the pre-heat flame settings, and cause the kindling temperature to be lost. I couldn't find anything earlier and its been driving me nuts, Esab pretty much says the same thing on the 3 tube design.
