im looking for some parts for a sae 400 welder one is the exciter amiture ..two is the exciter feilds ...three is the brush holders and brushes pretty much everything for the exciter

Reply:They use these off the Gulf Coast in the oilfield. Diesel motors only, but the parts you need should be the same. I'm sure there are parts machines. Finding them is another matter. There is a shop in Thibodeaux Louisiana that deals with them, and then there is Hybriweld in Morgan City Louisiana. http://www.hybriweld. com I would start making some phone calls, Houston, Lafayette etc. Most Welding Supplies along the Gulf Coast will share information over the phone. SAE 400 parts won't be cheap. Reply:hey thanks for the tip i will call them on monday my sae 400 is a diesel aslo...it was given to me so even if i spend 1-2000 i dont think it would be that bad ? |
