Reply:Forage harvester we use on the farm have access holes for clearing the shoot similar to that, they are located underneath and also up far enough that it impossible to get your hand down into the blower fan.

Reply:Where I come from clearing Beavers is a dynamite job, not shooting. In my youth VT still had a law that elected officials could buy dynamite, (I doubt that law is still in effect). The Otter Creek was repeatedly dammed by beavers at each culvert. One 9' culvert wouldn't clear, 8 sticks didn't do much! There were 40 left in the case, we worked for hours getting them to the bottom of the dam. The blast was more than expected, but effective. There were sticks and mud WAY down stream! Water rose so fast on the downstream side, we nearly lost the boat!Selectmen years earlier must have done something similar, as one of two 6' culverts had the downstream end flared out like Elmer Fudd's shotgun when Buggs Bunny stuck his finger in the barrel.
Reply:GravelThe difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference.
