15hp, 29" x22 ' (16 foot planks) I need to build new paddocks for my cattle and the cost of lumber was not getting it done, so I looked around at chainsaw mills and got side tracked. The pulleys, shafts, bearings, and rollers are from Linn Sawmills as well as the blade, the rest was supplied by my local steel supplier in Athabasca, Riverside Welding, at least 100 ft of 2" angle, and alot of custom cut 2" and 2 1/2 tube. Paint is endura ultra prime 40% zinc and red top coat of polyester polyurethane late in Oct. Plan on cutting some spruce this winter and beefing up the track and trailer next summer and making mill self propelled and fully hydraulic.Trackwill rest on 6x6 every couple of feet low to ground. Mill uses 12 volt winch to lift which is not a reliable system but I had a horizontal lead screw of 1" course thread pulling two cables, one for each side, accurate, but it was too slow and I did not want to wait for acme, so if I have trouble with winch I will thread two cables through centre spool of winch, one cable lifting each side for now and go to acme lead screws vertically w/hydraulic motor next year. Engine is princess auto house brand 420cc/15hp electric start I got on sale for $299.00.Welding primarily done with Thermal Arc Fabricator 190, 75/25 & .035 wire and. 030 on sheetstock. All connections were drilled then tapped for any future disassembly or mods. Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk Attached Images
