Hi Guys.  I need some help. I have an Airco Dip Pac 200. I am having an issue with  that I just cant seem to figure out.  I do not have a manual for it. Problem is the wire will feed through the line and out of the gun fine then it gets all jammed up at the feeder. It goes through the feed wheel and bunches up between the wheel and tube going to gun. It has a removable tube going through to the gun. I tried it with and without the tube. If I Can get the wire to come out and keep feeding I think this thing will work. I managed to get it to make a small beed once before jamming up at the feeder.  Any help with this would be great. Thanks
Reply:Well you must have the liner in the torch to work. What is the wirr you are trying to feed?Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li  ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
Reply:I am using .035 wire. Is there a lubricant to help it through with less resistance?
Reply:KY Jelly?! Seriously, either post pictures here so that someone familiar with Airco MIGs can see if something is obviously wrong, or have a buddy with MIG experience come over and take a look. Drive rolls, gun connection, liner, and tip all have to be right to get proper feeding. Also, what size wire are you trying to feed?JohnA few weldersA lot of hammersA whole lot of C-clamps
Reply:I have tried at different wire feed speeds and different wire. All get the same result. Sometimes it will feed all the way out the nozzle of the gun. Other times it will feel about 3 feet. I am at a lost with this thing. I am running .035 wire.Rich
Reply:Re thread your gun then flip up the feed roller and see how hard it pulls.  It should pull real easy.  If not check your contact tip size, liner condition, and the guide after the feed roller for proper size.  On my miller feeders the wire guide after the roller is tapered so you can get real close to the drive spools to avoid bird's nesting.  Is your wire nice and bright, not all rusty.  I do use the clamp on wire wipers on my feeders.Dan D.Manipulator Of Metal
Reply:In your second photo there should be a short section of gun liner coming out the back of the gun almost touching the rollers, that'll stop your birds nestSent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk
Reply:It is in there but doesn't seems to always end up by the gun end. Thank you for the help. I will look at all the suggestions as soon as I can. Thanks Rich
Reply:Here's a guy who seemed to be struggling with the same used unit. But, right on the surface of things, I'll suggest looking closer at the top roller tensioning mechanism, which seems almost non-existent on the unit. So, maybe that's what those washers are being used to compensate for, which the guy on the video is suspicious of on his.
Reply:Wire lube is only a bandaid fix. Over time the lube will gel up and cake the shavings in your liner. Been there, done that.Other than putting a new liner in the torch, you either need to shorten your torch lead or go with bigger wire. Also over tensioning the drive wheels will crush and deform the wire leading to feed problems. Really I would spec a replacement low duty short small torch to drive your sensitive .035 wire. http://usaweld.com/ may have one at a very attactive pricing.I had that same mig unit a bunch of years back. I liked it alot but like an idiot sold it. Sadly though it would not drive .030 wire so I used the money from the sale to buy a Linde V160. It burned .023 and .030 wire beautifully, but again like an idiot sold it too. Ended up with my Millermatic for heavy wire, and Linclone for .030 lite wire. Still cannot drive .023 to save my soul. Reply:Another question? What is the alloy of wire? I don't see a copper color. Is it not steel.Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li  ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
Reply:Ok guys, I think I have it figured out. I borrowed the gun from another welder. Seems to run fine now. Now I need to figure out where to get a new gun for mine. Thane for all the help. Rich
