Reply:The engine retrofit has to be a poor match for the original's speed and power-band.If revved up I wonder if it couldn't  overspeed the generator and sling its windings?
Reply:I believe by the looks of what's left of the lettering on the name plate it is actually an sa200 junior.
Reply:Probably not a lot of difference between a Lincwelder 250 and an SA200 Junior.  If I had to guess, I'd say the SA200 Junior was close to a Lincwelder 250 but renamed/rerated.  It would capitalize on the SA200 reputation, as opposed to the smaller Lincwelder 180. Reply:It would be a fun project if a guy had a little Kubota diesel off of a reefer or something. As for restoration and actual use, it would cost more than it would ever be worth to me. Even if it were almost free.
