Picked this up with the intention of rebuilding. Unit is complete, the motor is seized. Have been soaking with KROIL for sometime but I have not been able to free it. Cylinder walls look good, but she just wont budge. In any case I need a multiprocess engine driven welder and am interested in selling this one or parting it out. Reply:I hate to see it go to pieces as well. Heres the deal. I am unemployed, going to school 12 hours a day learning this new trade we call Welding. I bought this little gem for a steal! I gave the guy 200.00 bucks. I drove 150 miles round trip. I've bought KROIL, some PB Blaster, Marvel oil. Fuel, eating out for my and my buddy that helped pick it up. So I figure I have 400.00 total into it. Spent some time trying to free it but not real seriously, because I didn't have the time. I will make someone a smoking deal on this thing complete, but the limiting factor is shipping. I will do whatever it takes to get it ready for truck freight but I can't be out any money on this thing, because I just don't have it. I'll keep it together for a week or so and then I need to recoup something to stay afloat. Reply:i hate to see you loose a danm good machine bro. i can tell you what work for me that my grandfather used to get one unlocked. poor transmission fluid full on each cylinder and let set for as long as it takes. has worked great for me.
