I hooked up a K2652-2 Magnum gun to one of my LN-25 wire feeders and the wire will not feed through the gun. It gets to about where the curved part of the gun tube mounts to the straight part and stops. I thought maybe something was wrong with that particular one, so tried another with the same results. I have tried 6 brand new guns and ran into the same problem with all six. I have dissassembled the gun and cannot see what the problem may be. I can run a length of wire from the nozzle end down with no problem. I was wondering if i made a short "jump liner" section if that may help, kinda like the Bernard guns use. I am using 035 hard wire and these guns have 045 liners so i don't think that's a problem. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions please respond. Keep in mind that I am in a camp in the jungle of Ghana, so a trip to the welding supply store is out of the question. Reply:I'm a dumba$$----The guns did not come with liners----problem solved except for the fact that i now have only 2 spare liners instead of the 10 that i thought i had---can't be cool ALL the time.6 Miller Big Blue 600 Air Paks2 Miller 400D6 Lincoln LN-25's4 Miller Xtreme 12VS2 Miller Dimension 812 4 Climax BW-3000Z bore welders Hypertherm 65 and 85Bug-O Track BugPair of Welpers |
