ASME Sec. IX continuity log

Is anybody familiar with the continuity log requirements of an ASME section 9 certification?I have an in-house cert from a regional welding supply house that runs a school (ATF certified but my course and 6G pipe test didn't go through ATF paperwork and the outside lab) that has a CWI on staff.Right now I'm teaching fundamentals of pipe welding (SMAW only) at a community college.  Who can I get to sign off on a continuity log?  This will be my first entry (it's been 6 months).Also, for any of you AWS gurus out there, I'd like to chat about the CWI course, and why the pricetag of qualifying on the API 1104 code costs less than D1.1.
