Reply:This place has pretty good prices on Metabo and Sait cutoff wheels.http://www.lehighvalleyabrasives.com/servlet/StoreFront"USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder
Reply:Heleta or metabo original slicers The heleta are about a 3rd of the cost but the metabo last alot longer if you don't break them. I usually just run the heleta unless someone is buying them for me.Vantage 300 kubota ,miller 304 xmt ,lincoln ln 25 pro , ranger 305 G, plenty of other tools of the trade to make the sparks fly.
Reply:Walter wheels work for me.
Reply:Walter make some of the best abrasive tool and consumables but their price is way too high, especially when it come to grinders and power tools!one thing i like from walter is their complete selection of drills with hex shank!Calculator > Bevel Square

Reply:I prefer to use cut-off wheels that are 3/64" thick, rather than the 1/16" ones. I realize that the difference isn't much, but from my experience, the thinner disc cuts faster, easier, and lasts longer.Bgbkwndo.
Reply:I have the best results from the .045 Dewalt cut off wheels. I'm only cutting 20ga sheet metal. |
