Reply:Oh I did a goof too when the buyer came to look at it. I hooked up the regulator to the new tank of argon I got last week to demo that TIG worked. and the beads looked like a disaster melting all over the place. Anyhoo, at least it showed it worked. I knew something was wrong, couldnt figure out what. I , then did the Stick mode, buyer was satisfied and bought it. It wasn't till I went out to the garage later that evening that I realized the problem, I forgot I had put the new Argon on my welding cart and took the steel mix tank off the cart when I got it last week. SOOO i was trying to TIG with 84/16 Argon CO2 I did email the buyer to tell him my mistake too. I knew it all worked properly cuz i did run Al with it before.
