Another good Score Today on an Air Compressor

Had to travel 200 mile round trip for it but I bought a Large Vertical Keystone Two Stage Air Compressor off of a Buick Dealership that went to a Rotary Screw type Unit now. That is the only reason they sold the original old style Keystone Unit. It has a large Twin 2 stage pump on it and a very large 10 HP electric motor that they just replaced 4 months ago. Only had to give them $100.00 for it total and they had a guy help me load it up too. Pic below of the unit as it was when I got there to buy it. Stopped at a spray car wash on the way home with it and used the engine degrease cycle to clean it up and it looks real good now. Hooked it up and it works perfect just like the service manager that sold it to me said it would. It pumps up to 175 PSI and shuts off ready to get working after an empty tank it only took about 4 minutes to fill up and the tank is 80 Gallons. Man do I keep falling into the outhouse pit and coming out with a new suit of clothes and a rose in my lapel and smelling fresh I am ecstatic.ESAB MIG Welder in the background but they wouldn't let that go for another $100.00 darn.    Attached Images

Reply:Looks like a Champion compressor head. I have one just like it, you got a screaming deal.LMiron, tanks are a dime a dozen, worry about a good compressor head and the rest is easy.

Reply:I found it on Craigs List and the guy held it overnight for me on my word only. I forgot to mention that it is single phase powered motor that is wired up on regular house current. Never seen a single phase motor this big before. It has to weigh 200 pounds itself.
