Well, finally bit the bullet and took the SA200 down to be overhauled.Went to crank it up today -- it ran about 40 seconds and died out. I think it may be old gas as it's been easily a month and a half since I filled it up. Card is probably clogged?I have a leak on the main seal, and on a rear seal. I cannot stand a machine that leaks oil. Will be waiting on a estimate to see if it's worthwhile to get into it, or whether it's more prudent to sell it and move to a ranger 305g.I'd like to do hoses, belt, plugs, wires, seals...and of course have the damn leaks fixed.I'll update when I get some info. And if it's too damn much she may be up for sale......Last edited by jsm11; 06-24-2010 at 07:10 PM.1981 Lincoln SA 200Miller Trailblazer 302gMiller 211 Mig Welder w/ AutosetI'm learning to stick metal together

Reply:Probably 2k as it sits with the same leaks. He called and said the carb had old gas from sitting so it's running and welding like it should again.I'll have a better idea on Monday as to how much it'll really cost to get the seals replaced.1981 Lincoln SA 200Miller Trailblazer 302gMiller 211 Mig Welder w/ AutosetI'm learning to stick metal together |
