Hi all , i wandered if any body out there can give me some input on who makes the best electric sheet metal shears .thanx Chris

Reply:What gauge material are you thinking of cutting, and what sorts of cuts are you looking to make?I'm very happy with my Bosch 1500C shears, but there are several different styles of shears.
Reply:I have the milwaukee set from homedepot and I have used them a pretty good bit and havent had any issue out of them.Vantage 300 kubota ,miller 304 xmt ,lincoln ln 25 pro , ranger 305 G, plenty of other tools of the trade to make the sparks fly.
Reply:I use a pair of the ones that attach to a cordless drill. They are 5+ years old have been money well spent.
Reply:I believe both Tennsmith and National have electric shears. 3 phase I believe.
Reply:It depends on what you want to do with them. Sheetmetal or plate? I have had/used Kett, Triumph,  Modern, dewalt, Milwaukee, and malco. Kett being the heaviest handling 3/8" half hard SS. Malco being the lightest running 26ga. You said shears but I included Gooblers. My Milwaukee set of shears is great used in production for years and years now used in my home shop.
