So, for real this time...I think I got my engine drive welder. As long as the fella does not fall through I told him I would take it and it is going to be a Miller Trail blazer 325 EFI. So here is my question and it is a simple one. The zoro coupon is running today and I want to order my mig welder and helmet to finish out the package. I want a portable mig I can run off of my gen for out in the field and that can plug directly in most of the time to weld in my garage. At this point I don't care if it is red or blue or even tan. I was kind of set on the millermatic 211 but would not mind going a bit cheaper as I will have plenty of stick capacity for the thicker stuff. What would compliment the package in your mind best, in other words spend my tax return.I am driving around all day today and don't have much time to sort out these two items but had really hoped to order them when I get home tonight as the coupon only runs till midnight. Thanks !P.S I was going to go with the 3M speedglass 9100x model, any issues here?
Reply:Maybe the HH (hobart) 210 mvp. It's considerably cheaper than the miller 211. I got mine from blains farm equipment for 794It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.Last edited by jakehawk9; 02-23-2016 at 08:04 AM.
Reply:That is a good price...just checked on zoro and that is one of the ones they don't do very good on price wise. I am in no way stuck on going with them. It all depends on pricing but I know the coupon is only good for today. The helmet seems to be the best price I can get anywhere though. Thanks for the input.
Reply:http://www.farmandfleet.com/m/Give em a look. When I was shopping around they were cheaper than anyone on most machines. $1 shippingIt's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.
Reply:For what that miller 211 costs you could almost get the Lincoln 210 multiprocess. At least that's what I'm trying to tell myself right now.Lincolin Power Wave 450, Lincoln Powermig 255, Lincoln Pro Mig 140, Lincoln Squarewave Tig 275, Miller Big 40 G(with Hobart Hefty suitcase), Thermal Arc 95S and Esab PCM875 in an already full machine shop. |
