How can I improve on it ? Can I reinforce it to make it stronger ?
Reply:I would build the table bigger, and make it have 4 sturdy legs.. Also add some supports! Hope this helped!-Jess

Reply:I have one and really like it. One improvement is to add wheels to allow moving it without having to carry it. Other than that, buy another, they bolt together. Then you can accommodate larger work pieces.
Reply:I'm not overly impressed with mine. I got it as a starter table until I have time and room to build an actual welding table.

Reply:If you're looking for an inexpensive portable solution for a welding table, get some firebrick and cinder blocks. That's how I built my first two tables with OAW and my diagonals were within 1/16th of an inch. I shop more often than I care to admit at Harbor Freight but those welding tables are a joke. I would weld on wood sawhorses first, even if I could have the HF table for free. The Harbor Freight table wouldn't even make a good drawing or writing table, how would you expect to make decent welds?
Reply:And for some background; I'm the guy who folds a menu to use as a shim under a short table leg when going out to eat at a restaurant with my girlfriend, so your experience may be different. All I know is that depending on where you live, you could make a much better table for the price, even if you messed up the first try, all the while maintaining some valuable welding practice.
Reply:I like the portability of mine, and I too bought it for small projects and hobbys. I am limited in my space, so I can fold it then hang it.
Reply:It is good for a few things, but I built a real table as soon as I could.I didn't use it much before I discovered it was warping.Hobart Handler 210 MVPAHP AlphaTIG 200XHypertherm Powermax 30 Air
