Looking for a good working Argon/CO2 flowmeter to hook up my Lincoln SP170T to run gas. I bought a Victor unit from ebay, but it is leaking out of a small valve in the rear like a stuck pig. I can't extract the small allen key since someone else boogered it up.
Reply:I have some extra harris flowmeters I would sell for $55 ea including shipping.Dynasty 200DXPassport plus w/ spoolmate 100victor 315c oxy/(act and prop)Miller digital elitemilwaukee power tools
Reply:You got an old license plate lying around oyu'd throw in to spicen up the deal? I collect them and don't have an Alaska pale. Let me know.
Reply:sure, I can even make it one of the nice chilkoot trail plates.Dynasty 200DXPassport plus w/ spoolmate 100victor 315c oxy/(act and prop)Miller digital elitemilwaukee power tools
Reply:Say "yes" to the Harris at that price shipped with a license plate! :-)Also, the blowoff valve on your Victor is NOT the problem. They do their job by venting overboard. The seat "poppet" is the normal leak source. Takes a few minutes to swap but the kit's about 35 bucks.I have a (literal) heap of those reg cores so I don't want it, but someone else here might. You could also fix it for a spare since that and the Harris you are about to get will be good for MANY years of use. Pics of naked flowmeter below:http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=54449 |
