How are you doing everybody, I own a landscaping business in Central New Jersey and do some welding on the side as it is needed. I recently purchased a Lincoln Arc Welder from a old timer retired iron worker. He also threw in a bunch of regulators (Uniweld, Airco) Heli Arc torches, and a Carbon Arc handle and a very vintage ceramic ball Oxweld Argon Regulator fron Linde Products. I have included some pictures and if you guys could just give them a look and think if they are worth selling or not as I have no current use for them and any ball park prices you might think they would be worth. Thanks in advance! Best regards! R&D NJCarbon Arc HandleHelic Arc HW-18Heli Arc HW-9Oxweld Ceramic Ball Argon Regulator (Very Vintage)
Reply:What would you consider a fair price for one (or both possibly) of those old TIG torches? I'm somewhat of a new welder, also from NJ (The Hamilton, Trenton area). please contact me here or by email.email: [email protected]/Craftsman 230A Buzzy BoxSears/Craftsman 180A Buzzy BoxChicago Electric 80A InverterALL STICK...ALL THE TIME!I spent a lot of time with the square peg and round hole.
Reply:Opinions are like anterior orifices, everyone has one. I'd value the gouger handle at about twenty bucks, and the oid TIG torches at say 25 each. The hose on those old ones is sometimes kinda stiff but very good quality.
