I just realised I should have put this in a different part of the forum. Was going to delete it, but can't find the way to do it. Lincoln sold one, but I don't think they do anymore. Ebay is not possible. so I am thinking my choices are to either build one or buy a generic lawn/garden/work cart that places like Harbor Freight sells for under $100. I have seen them with max weight limits of 800 or so pounds, so I think I am ok there. Hopefully at least. My size limit would be as close to the actaul size of the welder as possible. I don't have lots of room. If I were to build something, I couldn't weld anything right now. And I am not sure what it would take to be strong enough. I am leaning towards just buying the generic cart becuase it will probably be cheaper than buying all the material to build something, but I don't want to be wasting my money on something that will fall apart either. Just looking for any suggestions. Maybe I am missing something simple and cheap. Pretty doesn't matter. I need to get this thing rolling soon. We might be moving at some point before the end of the year. One other thought which I doubt would work would be to just add some sort of axles to the frame it already has and put some tires on it. I just don't have any clue what would be strong enough to do this.I am used to cobbling stuff together, but not for anything this heavy. Reply:It depends on the size of the machine, and what you really need from the cart. Some ideas to look over of different machines are found at Google Images. http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&s...h+Images&gbv=2A temporary cart might be had in the form of a garden wagon, but I find that some of my mere temporary adaptations lead very long service lives. Reply:OOPS, it is a 225 AC/DC. I need something to make it movable without using my engine hoist. It is going to be kept in the garage, just need it to be able to be moved around once in a while. Nice pictures. Thanks,RussRIP Mallory, we miss you.
Reply:I move my Weldanpowers around with my forks on a skidloader but I also have the garden cart that is rated for either 800 or 1,000 lbs. It holds the machine Ok, machine is 500 give or take. The problem is in the handle slash cheap steering mechanism. You can bend it up real easy with the weight on it. You basically have to be moving before you try to turn the steering wheels. Oh yeah, better have those tires pumped up too , or the steering problem is even worse.  Build a nice angle iron or channel cart.
