Looking to buy one of these tigs and was wondering what the idle current is and if a 60 amp breaker is enough to weld up to about 1/4" ? Is this too much of a machine for a home shop? Tried searching but search engine is down. Thanks guys.
Reply:Well its a hundred amp machine, probably a 30 amp inrush, so you'd probably be ok to 1/4" on a 60 amp circuit
