Welding table for sale 4' by 10' 1" thick top

A buddy of mine closed his shop and I bought his old welding table.  Its a MONSTER!!!!!  8' wide, 20' long, 1/2" top sitting on four w1 by 45 beams.   So I won't be needing my old one any more in my new shop.  I bought it two years ago.  Its 4' wide, 10' long and 1" thick.  I have no idea what the holes are for but they are 7/8" threaded.  Its about 3000lbs.  My bobcat has trouble moving it.  I don't want to scrap it.  So I will let it go cheap $500 cash.   We are moving in the next week or so.  Bring a trailer. Reply:If my memory serves me well, steel weighs ~.28 lb./cubic inch.48" x 120" x 1" = 5760 cu.inches   and   5760 cu" x .28 lb./cu in. = 1613 pounds.Heck, that should only take two Samsons to lift; you could probably even balance it on the roof of a VW bug!
Reply:You only calculated the weight of the top. The frame weight will likely double that for a total weight. I didn't look at the date stamps on the first post... got my bloody hopes up hehe.I would have had my uncle on your doorstep tomorrow to deliver payment.  I have a dual axle flatbed 7000 lb car hauler... with my diesel truck, it wouldn't have been terribly difficult moving that thing 300 miles up here to southern NY.Glad you found a good home for it.
