im looking to buy a plasma, dont really want to break the bank, and found one of these cutmaster 100's for sale, guy said hed take $1200. these machines are rated for 1 1/8 cut i believe and its a single phase 220, which is perfect for what i need. its likely not going to have to do much thick cutting, most of everything itll be doing is aluminum 1/8-1/4 maybe thinner, but i figured itd be nice to have the capability to go bigger. i have never heard of this company, and im wondering if its a decent machine or if im just buying a pos....? i know that they discontinued this model in 2004, and im also wondering if you can parts for this machine, and/or if they break down often or have certain issues pertaining to that model. if anyone has any experience with this or has an opinion id love to hear it. thanks guys
Reply:I have a TD Cutmaster 151 and a Cutmaster 102. Both have been rock solid. You can find manuals and stuff on their site here: http://www.victortechnologies.com/thermaldynamicsAre you sure it's not a 101?
