Reply:Do you own the manual for your unit? If not, you should be able to download it from the Lincoln site, then read it to see if it has information about adjustments, circuit breakers and such.Lincoln Electric Manuals .
Reply:Get the owners manual.Make sure you are not in stick mode. try it in AC tig and see if you have HF.IN the set up menu you can turn off the HF in DC but AC always should be working.Go into the setup menu and do a factory reset. Then start over making adjustments. If after doing this and it still does not have HF in AC or DC tig modes. You could have a problem with the HF board and or the front panel control pcb. At this point you will need a service shops help or if you ask carefully Lincoln will help.. There are very high voltages inside this welder and a mistake by you can cause you to get fried or electronic parts can explode. Large capacitors and IGBT's can go bang and throw pieces. use a face shield and other protective gear.Last edited by ccawgc; 12-20-2010 at 01:12 AM.
