Hello all,Recently my welding class received a jet 1236 PY lathe as a donation. My teacher is thrilled. There is only one problem, on the quick change gear box there is a data plate that slides onto two pegs. while in transit this plate flew off never to be seen again. So... I was wondering if anybody out there has or knows somebody that owns one of these lathes and can take a picture of this data plate.thank youJason
Reply:This is off Google Search and is for the PS version. Not sure if they are the same or not, but if not this download came off nearly the top of the first page of search results so you should be able to find your specific model with a bit of digging.http://media.photobucket.com/image/J.../P2062490w.jpgFairly sure that if you look on the Jet factory site the owner's manual should be downloadable as well. Gut feeling is that link came from the manual.http://www.jettools.com/us/manufactu...t/manuals.htmlLast edited by WyoRoy; 10-26-2012 at 11:26 PM.Lincoln PrecisionTig 275Miller 251Miller DialArc 250Bridgeport millHossfeld bender & diesLogan shaperJet 14 X 40 latheSouth Bend 9" 'C'Hypertherm 900Ellis 3000 band saw21"Royersford ExcelsiorTwo shops, still too many tools.
Reply:There is a forum for imported lathes 12x36. If you register you will find a lot of information.http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/grou...6importlathes/Mauricio |
