Reply:I remember back in the early 80s when there was a big fascination with building things from Cor-Ten. Can't recall hearing much about it in the last 15 to 20 years though. I think CorTen might one of those supposed developments that while it sounded good in theory it didn't work out quite as well as expected. In other words it wasn't quite the miracle material that it was originally advertised to be. The Gardener Denver corporate offices in Dallas were built from it. If my memory serves me correct it's one of the uglier buildings I've seen.

Reply:A 709 50 W to the bridge world today still used all the time. The new Witt Penn in NJ is all painted 50 W. HPS -70 W is higher yield and weathering too.Some dumb engineers want to waste money to galvanize or metalize it ,a total waste .
