A friend of mine sent me this link and I thought it might help some newer guys. It's a woodworking video, but the same principals would apply to a steel bench, table or chair. It shows a simple way to get all the legs the right length on a stool with angled legs so a they will sit level and not rock on a flat floor. Familiar stuff for those with fab experience, but I see so many kids at the tech school who lack even these basic skills, so I thought it might be worth posting up.The sound is a bit loud, but all the explanations are in text, so you can simply mute the sound.http://www.popularwoodworking.com/ar...&rid=234569710.No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:For some reason everytime I try to play the video it kicks me off.
Reply:Worked for me..nice video.
Reply:Looking good! Will come handy the next time I need to fix something level without the mighty help of leveling pads... XD.Mikel |
