Acetylene not coming out of torch

So I picked up a Victor HD310 handle with a CA2460 head from a garage sale for $15 this morning along with some other tools and I just tried it out the torch and I can't hear the Acetylene coming out, I can hear the Oxy though. I tried to light the acetylene and it has about a 1/2 inch flame but I no matter how much I adjust it it stays at that size. I'm taking the torch apart to see if something is clogged, any ideas?"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. Reply:Perhaps someone tried running their torch set laying down, and the acetone went into the hoses and gooped everything up?Unless something is physically smashed shut, it's nothing a thorough cleaning shouldnt fix.You didn't build that.'85 Miller AEAD-200LE

Reply:That torch I believe has flash back arrestors in it. I think the flashback arrestors "melt" and shut down the gas flow when activated. I haven't ever heard it before on any of the other torches i've used. It works like a champ though, I just cut some 1'' steel plate with it and it works much better than my smaller Victor torch.
Reply:I left my cutting head off the body since I got a plasma, had the rosebud on the body. Went to use the cutting head the other day and neither O/A came out the tip. Turned out Mud Dauber wasps plugged the end of the torch with mud. Had to remove the Oxy valve  and clean it out, works fine now.
