recently i picked up an old skil worm drive saw at an auction.  i would like to use it to cut metal but i'm having a hard time finding metal cuttin gblades with the diamond knockout to fit over the arbor.  i wouldnt't mind spending some money for a decent blade if need be.  i would like to be able to cut 1/4" thick steel and aluminum.  this would be the max thickness i would need to cut with this set up.  any suggestions?  thanks
Reply:Diablo steel demon will work. http://www.amazon.com/D0748F-Diablo-...ds=steel+demon
Reply:On some of the worm drive saws the diamond arbor can easily be removed and replaced with a round type. Might be easier and cheaper in the long run. Also make sure the saw and blade speed are compatible.Andy
Reply:i guess i didn't look hard enough on frued's web site.  didn't see anything with a diamond cut out.  that is exaclty what i was looking for.  i want to say tha the saw turns at 3800 or 4200 rpm's.  cant remember right now.  i now its less than  the 5800 stated on the blade, so i should be good to go.  does any one see any problem cutting 1/4" steel plate with this blade on a 13 amp worm drive skil circular saw?  i understand i'll need to cautious given the circumstances, but i guess i'm wonder if the tool will be capable of the job?  thanks
