messed up sa200

well i was looking at welders on cl and found this sa200 http://sd.craigslist.org/bfs/4867438961.html . i was wondering what you guys think its worth or if its even worth buying .

Reply:If you got the skill to fix it, offer $200 and haul it home. You'll get more for it parting it out so you won't get hurt.Hard to say how bad it's wanged. Reply:what do bottom of the barrel  running welding sa200s go for ? i looked at radiators and i found a new one for 300 . the things im concerned with is where the controls are and the missing nose cap .
Reply:Seen them sell for under $100 before. Average price depends on a lot of factors. There's no set price. Depends on location, age, style, condition. Reply:honestly ive seen running sa200s go for 500$ in my area if you had one already and need some parts it could be worth other wise id stay away from it.High Octane Welding

Reply:That's an octagon barrel machine! When it rolled off the assembly line it was just another welding machine, nothing special at all. Reply:If it were close to me I'd jump on it. I can fix most all of the body damage. If you must buy each and everything you should pass.
Reply:well i called on it he said the least he would go is 325 so told him that was about 125 to much . i figure i dont need a generator welder but if he still has it in a month it would make a fun project to work on .
