I need clear pics of the original linkage hookup on a Redface with R57 vacuum idler and Marvel Schebler carb. Mine also has the American Bosch mag. I'm mainly concerned with the carb ends of the linkages, and a closeup or 2 would be great. I've got parts missing on both of the 2 SA-200's I bought, and I want to get them running properly.My copies of the Lincoln IM-179 manual are so bad that I can't see the linkages at all. Every copy I found on the web was the same.

Reply:Hey Josh, thanks a ton. Let me know what it costs to mail that stuff and I'll send you money on paypal to cover it. I've got the machine with the rebuilt engine running, but it still has engine issues to be worked out including low compression on cyls 3 and 4 (70 and 100 psi). Numbers 1 and 2 hold 135 psi. Doesn't seem to be smoking any though, and no blowby from the draft tube. Maybe there's some crud in the valve seats. |
